VIII Unifying Dynamic Structure
One of the advantages of the proposed model is the opportunity it provides for describing a universe based upon a comparatively simple set of rules. A consistent set of dynamic relationships can be used to describe nature that is entirely based upon the uniform expansion of space-time. The following list illustrates the possibilities.
Gravity is inertially induced
One of the assumptions used by Einstein in developing General Relativity is the principle of Equivalence. Inertial forces are similar to gravitational forces. This belief is also expressed in this paper, as evidenced in the dimensional check section of this work. More importantly, this equivalence becomes obvious when three-dimensional space is described as actually moving along an unobserved dimension and it is the change in velocity along the unobserved dimension that results in the effect of gravity. A change in momentum results in a force, no matter which dimensional measure of distance is used.
Electromagnetic and nuclear forces conjecture
If the force of gravity can be the result of a change in momentum due to the expansion of space-time along unobserved dimensional measures, then in principle the same forces can be induced on an atomic level. The three dimensions of space are interrelated and how these spatial dimensions interact based upon temporal measures can depend upon a geometrically described orientation. All forces are the result of a change of momentum. The reason for the different magnitude of the forces is the projection of the volume of space along three dimensional measures, where the projected volume intersects a plane with a large incident angle the force is strong, if the angel of incidence is shallow, the force created is weak. This will be a topic of another paper.
Quantum relationships
If the expansion of space-time occurs at the quantum level of observation, then a physical explanation for quantum relationships is possible; the very smallest measures of our universe becomes directly associated with the very largest measures of our expanding universe.
As space-time expands a quantum piece at a time, an uncertainty of existing reality results. A photon traveling through the confines of a slit will be deflected due to the probabilistic appearance of a piece of space-time while the photon is traveling through the slit, and it is this phenomenon that is responsible for the wave like properties observed with light. Each quanta of reality must conform to the existing structure of space-time, just like when a water molecule freezes itself to a growing snowflake.
The Edge and the Center of the Universe
The proposed model offers a limited but meaningful description of the edge and the center of the universe. Since the expansion of space is uniform everywhere, all locations are the perceived center of the universe. Since the expansion occurs everywhere around every location, the edge of the universe is not some far off distant place, but surrounding everything everywhere. We are at the edge of an expanding universe right now.
A Snowflake universe
A growing snowflake is a simple model that correlates to the proposed model. The expansion of space-time is like the overall expansion of a snowflake. Just as a snowflake is confined to a basic dimensional shape, so to is the universe. Just as there are dimensional patterns that are constant in a snowflake, so too are the constants of physics. Just as there are repeating relationships found within a snowflake, so to are there repeating relationships found in the universe. Just as a snowflake grows by its expansion a small piece at a time, so to does the universe. The universe is like an expanding snowflake with every location at the perceived center of an expanding universe.
Divine Creation
The universe conforms to an order that is, from my perspective, divine. Everything in the universe, throughout the entire universe, from the beginning of time to the end of time, for all time, is centrally located in an expanding universe. Even the chaotic realm of chance occurrences observed on the quantum scale of observation settles upon and conforms to existing structure. It is my heart felt belief that this is an order that defies chance, it is evidence of creation; and if there is creation, there must be a creator.
